Ramses II

Ramses II was one of greatest Acient Egyptian pharaohs wh reigned in the 19th Dynasty. He sometimes referred to as "Ramses the Great" because of his great accomplishments and to his long reign over Egypt. He ruled from 1279BC to 1213BC. His father's name was Seti I and his mother's name was Queen Tuya. His wife's name was Nefetari and they got 13 children but 12 children died during his life time so his thirteenth son Merenptah (aka Merneptah) become next pharaoh after he died. He had a war with Hittite but he made truce with him and had 50 years peace. He also built Abu Simbel temple, Karnak Temple, Lame Coliseum. Ramses II was buried in tomb complex in Valley of the King after he died.

Daily life of soldier and farmer in egypt

Soldier
Early Egypt, they didn't need the army, their job was just keep the people in a line like modern police. When they just registered, they will get little respect and little salary but  later they  will get good pay, respect and other rewards like gold, properties,etc.They also got rewarded for turning in enemy penises to their superiors, to show how many soldiers they had killed.

Farmer
They lived in house made of mudbricks. windows were placed in high for escaping from heat. They gather crops from their farmyard the woman makes foods with their crops. They wore linen clothes and they eat bread and fruits. They usually spend free time by eating.

10 facts of Hieroglyphics

1. Hieroglyphics it's kind of drawing so it could be in the art.
2.Cartouche is a royal people names written by hieroglyphics on a bullet-shaped oval.
3.In 1799, a French soldier found Rossetta stone. Rossetta stone was a key to solve hieroglyphics because it has written on hieroglyphics, demotic and ancient Greek.
4.Hieroglyphics have become popular in the years since the first tombs of the Egyptian pharaohs were discovered.
5.This system was started 3000BC ago but people lost the ability to write and read hieroglyphics in AD 392.
6.It has no vowels and no space or punctuation.
7.Hieroglyphics actually means 'picture writing' in ancient greek.
8.They could be read either left to right or right to left and both vertically in rows and horizontally in columns.
9. Only boys was thaught to read and write and at first they scratched messages on broken pieces on limestone pottery. Once they could write they wrote in sheets of papyrus as paper
10.There are 700 words in hieroglyphics.
