Geography of Ancient Egypt

Egypt is located in Africa (North-West) and it's near to Lybia and Sudan. If we call the Egypt, you will think about River Nile. Nile river is a important river in Ancient Egypt because it helped to drinking water, transport the quarries (stones that could be found in near the riverbank of Nile.). They are Limestone, Sandstone and Granite. They often used for buildings and statues and stuffs, divide the North and South Egypt by the way where it floats, growing crops near the river. So they thought it was holy water so they even float dead pharaoh's body and wash dead pharaoh with it. At final of Nile River, there is Nile Delta. Delta is a final part of river. Mostly they looks like triangle or word 'delta' in greek, so they call as delta.

Egypt is a desert country and It has no water in desert (except oasis, oasis is a large water pool. Traveler really needs this.) they live near the Nile River because that's only the easiest way to get water. As there is a flood at Nile River, they needed to know when does flood started and when does it finish so they could farm. But if it hasn't flooded, they blamed pharaoh. They grew fruits, wheat, etc.
